11 September 2019: Welcome Home Military Heroes celebrated their 9th anniversary in a HUGE way! On September 11, 2010, one very Patriotic family came together and started a non-profit organization that would welcome home their local Military Heroes. They started calling it, “Welcome Home Troops.” After a few name changes they finalized it and the rest is history. Now they have welcomed home over 1300 local Military Heroes from WWII to Global War on Terror Veterans.
They continued to add to their numbers by welcoming home over 23 WWII, Korean, Pre-Vietnam, Vietnam and one Active Duty Military Heroes. The flight was delayed for several hours and created a welcome home almost at mid0night. But that didn’t stop over 150 people to come together and give these Veterans a surprise homecoming!
