RETIRED USAF COLONEL OSCAR BAYER

Our Hero was active duty from 1943-1946 and 1950-1974. He was a navigator in the 7th and 10th Air Forces, B-29 Air Force Units in Korea, 366th Tactical Fighter Wing, 389th Fighter Squadron and flew F4 Phantom with 142 missions in Vietnam.

TIME: ARRIVE at Staging Location NO LATER than 1:00 pm

STAGING LOCATION: SOTO SPORTS COMPLEX, Ash Street, Arroyo Grande. BACK IN TO YOUR PARKING SPACE

BRIEFING: 1:20 PM (You must attend briefing)

DETAILS/SAFETY MEASURES

1. STAGING AREA: Meet at above Stage/Meeting Area
2. REMAIN: In your vehicles, as we are practicing social distancing. If you exit to stretch your legs, please remain near your vehicle and wear your face covering.
3. BRIEFING: You must attend the briefing to be part of this event.
4. DEPARTURE: After the briefing, we will line up the caravan/convoy in order and depart.
5. HEADLIGHTS/HAZARD LIGHTS:**** Please turn them on when we line up to exit the staging area. DRIVE SLOW.
6. EXITING PARKING LOT: Follow all traffic laws.
7. Birthday cards will need to be given to Robert Sr, Robert Jr, OR Cheryl. For safety reasons, we will present it on your behalf.
8. IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING FLAGS: Welcome Home Military Heroes is a veteran non-profit organization. To remain in good standing with our non-profit status, we cannot fly political flags of any kind. Thank you for understanding!
