US ARMY WWII Veteran, Frank Monforte is 96 years old!

Mr. Monforte, lost his wife of 70 years in March and has not been able to have a funeral for her due to COVID. He misses her so much and the family would love to lift his spirits with a surprise vehicle salute. Let’s show him honor and respect on Saturday with a HUGE vehicle salute!

DATE: Saturday, 25 July
LOCATION: Arroyo Grande

STAGING TIME: ARRIVE at 10:00 AM

BRIEFING: 10:15 AM (You must attend briefing)

STAGE/MEETING PLACE: Rancho Grande Park on James Way, Arroyo Grande

We have TWO MISSIONS this day. This is the first one and the second one is in Santa Maria (separate email will be sent out)

DETAILS/SAFETY MEASURES

1. MEET – STAGING AREA: Meet at above Stage/Meeting Area (Please be there no later than 10:00 AM)

2. REMAIN: In your vehicles, as we are practicing social distancing. If you exit to stretch your legs, please remain near your vehicle.

3. BRIEFING: You must attend the briefing to be part of this event.

4. DEPARTURE: After the briefing, we will line up the caravan/convoy in order and depart at 10:20 am

5. HEADLIGHTS/HAZARD LIGHTS:** Please turn them on when we line up to exit the staging area. DRIVE SLOW.

6. EXITING PARKING LOT: Follow all traffic laws.

DECORATE YOUR VEHICLES: You may decorate if you want.
