Terry Belson was an United States Marine, Vietnam Veteran, Purple Heart recipient, Founding Father of the American Legion Riders Post 136 in Arroyo Grande

Welcome Home Military Heroes has been invited to have a Flag Line to Honor, Terry Belson (Purple Heart Recipient multiple times) and his family.

Terry Lee Belson passed on March 22nd, 2018 in Arroyo Grande, California from complications following Lung Cancer.

Terry is survived by his loving wife Ruth Ann, their 7 children, 10 grand children, two brothers and three sisters. Terry was born in Erie, Pennsylvania in July 1949 and came to the Central Coast in 1991 with his family. Terry was Proud to serve his country in Vietnam from 1968-1969 and served the remainder of his military service at Camp Lejeune.

Terry was a Multiple Purple Heart recipient, among many other honors and medals. Terry was an active member of the American Legion post 136 and the Founding Father of the American Legion Riders in Arroyo Grande, CA. Terry loved spending time with his grandchildren and family. He enjoyed the outdoors, camping with his family and friends and riding his motorcycle to numerous fundraisers with his fellow riders. Terry will always be in our hearts and our memories of him will never fade, for he is a true American hero to many of us.
