Wreaths Across America Flag Line

(Please read carefully as we have two locations for flag lines at the same time)
Join us on National Wreaths Across America Day for TWO Flag Lines
Arroyo Grande Cemetery and Halcyon Cemetery

Date: December 14, 2019

Each December on National Wreaths Across America Day, wreath-laying ceremonies are held at Arlington National Cemetery, as well as at more than 1,600 additional locations in all 50 U.S. states, at sea and abroad.

Vietnam Veterans of America chapter 982 and the local Boy Scout Troop 450 will be conducting a ceremony prior to laying the wreaths.
Volunteers are needed for our Flag Line and for helping place wreaths.

FLAG LINE DETAILS:
RSVP is required for this event (Rain or Shine)

ARROYO GRANDE CEMETERY
ARRIVE: 11:30 am (this will give you time to park and walk to the ceremony location near the main office)
PARK: You MUST park on the street and walk in. If you are bringing someone that can’t walk that far, please drop them off and then park on street.
WEAR: Please wear your Welcome Home shirt or a red shirt or jacket if you have one. If not, that’s ok.

FLAG LINE BRIEFING: 11:45 am (must be at briefing to be in flag line)

HALCYON CEMETERY
ARRIVE: 11:30 am
LOCATION: Corner of The Pike and Elm Street, Arroyo Grande
WEAR: Please wear your Welcome Home shirt or a red shirt or jacket if you have one. If not, that’s ok.
