Get ready for an unforgettable event that will make history! Last year, we came together as a community to break records with two of the largest welcome home events for our military heroes on the Central Coast. Now, we’re thrilled to announce an even bigger celebration! We will be welcoming home over 90 brave Military Heroes who served in WWII, Korea, and Vietnam. It’s time to show them the appreciation and gratitude they deserve!

Join us, Welcome Home Military Heroes, at the Santa Maria Airport on May 15th, as we honor these courageous veterans. This event is open to the public and perfect for families, so bring everyone along to share in this extraordinary moment.

Make sure you arrive at the airport no later than 7:15 pm to secure your spot. Before heading out, feel free to call our hotline at 805-242-0536 to check for any flight delays or cancellations. We want to ensure a smooth and memorable experience for everyone.

Here are a few important notes to remember:

– This event is open to the public and family-friendly.
– Please arrive at the airport no later than 7:15 pm on May 15th.
– Avoid parking in drop-off, loading areas, or designated spots to prevent any towing or ticketing.
– Enter the airport through any door and make your way to the restaurant.
– As this is a non-profit organization event, please refrain from wearing any political flags or attire to maintain the integrity of the occasion.
– Bring your own American flag, branch flag, and/or signs to help create a patriotic atmosphere.
– At around 7:15 pm, a briefing will take place with Cheryl Tolan, Co-Founder of WHMH, and Jay Conner, Board Member of Honor Flight, who will discuss the order of operations.
– We want everyone to let their cheers resound and have an incredible time!
